Jasmine has been working at iBakery Gallery Cafe for over a year. She is able to work independently in various roles, including customer service and beverage serving. By observing her potential, her supervisor always encouraged Jasmine to explore different experiences, such as being teaching assistant in social inclusive workshops to demonstrate table manners and hand-drip coffee. Knowing that Jasmine enjoys dressing up and making crafts, she was nominated to participate in a public speaking training program, where she could share her interests in front of people. From being
shy when she first started, Jasmine now becomes confident and outgoing, and her laughter is often heard during work. “I’m currently learning different payment methods and cash up, which I believe that I’ll be able to handle it well soon.” Jasmine’s story shows how work can foster personal growth, which also recognizes the success of iBakery’s training effort for people with different abilities.
